Born in 1994, is an Amazonian artist based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. He studied painting, collage and other artistic practices at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage. His research focuses on the erasure of images of a territory and its possible ruptures. New narratives, critical fabulations and redesign of stories from a colonized country. In addition, he approaches the visual mediations of Amazonian soundscapes. He is also a professor and academic researcher.
He creates from various artistic practices, including painting, photography, video and digital art. In 2024, he opens a solo exhibition in São Paulo, the exhibition “Rádios-Cipós” in the 33rd CCSP Exhibition Program. His work will be part of the first “Amazon Biennial” in 2023, in Belém do Pará. Among the various exhibitions he has participated in in recent years, the following stand out: “Warmth”; at One Gee in Fog, in Geneva; the “Salão Arte Pará”, in 2022, where he won a residency at Pivô Arte e Pesquisa through an award; the exhibitions “Bloco do Prazer”, “Funk!” and “Casa Carioca”, at the Museu de Arte do Rio; the exhibition “Hábito-Habitante”, at Parque Lage; "Pretagonismos na Coleção do MNBA", at BNDES Cultural;"Rio de Janeiro XIX-XXI", at Casa Museu Ema Klabin; “Máscaras, Para Que Te Quero?”, at the Museu da República; “O Espaço Dividido”, at the Goethe Institut Salvador and also the exhibition “Contemporary Art Inhabits Antônio Prado” at the Rio Grande do Sul Art Museum. His works are part of the public collections of the Museu de Arte do Rio (RJ), the National Museum of Fine Arts (RJ), and the Amazoniana Collection (Federal University of Pará - UFPA).
